Buchanty Spout

Buchanty Spout is a spectacular waterfall and natural salmon leap on the River Almond in Glen Almond, a few miles north of Crieff. Start at the small car park on the B8063 (Grid Reference 933283) near to the waterfall and an old stone bridge. The circuit is equally enjoyable from whatever direction it is tackled but an anticlockwise approach - starting on the minor road near the car park and later re-joining the B8063 - avoids an early hill climb.

Famous Grouse Experience

As Scotland’s oldest distillery Glenturret has had a long and colourful history. From illicit stills and smugglers, through the worldwide boom in Scottish whisky to near dereliction post-prohibition, the site here at Glenturret has survived through the centuries. Nowadays The Famous Grouse Experience at Glenturret is the most visited distillery in Scotland, which seems only appropriate for the spiritual home of Scotland’s Favourite Whisky.

Crieff Visitors Centre

The Crieff Visitors Centre sits in four acres of it's own grounds with an extensive children's play area for all ages and boasts one of the famous 'Spacenet' climbing frames to keep them amused.

Drummond Castle Gardens

Drummond Castle was built on a rocky outcrop by John, 1st Lord Drummond. The 2nd Earl, a Privy Councilor to James VI and Charles I, succeeded in 1612 and is credited with transforming both the gardens and the castle. The keep still stands but the rest of the castle was restored and largely remodeled by the 1st Earl of Ancaster in 1890.
