With such outstanding landscapes there are many walks to venture on from Westacre Lodge, listed below are various walks that are within 10 miles.

Auchnafree Hill and Glen Turret - length 9 miles
This walk combines an easy stroll along the shores of Loch Turret with an ascent of Auchnafree Hill (789m). Although the hill is a Corbet (Scottish mountain over 2500 feet) the start point is at 350m so an ascent of less than 450m is required to reach the summit.

Craig Rossie (Ochil Hills) - length 4 miles
From the very flat Earn Valley the northern slopes of the Ochil Hills are mostly grass-covered, rounded hills, but Craig Rossie stands out with its steep north face and sheer cliff-face to the east.

Ben Chonzie from Glen Turret - length 10 miles
The ascent is an easy walk beside the beautiful Loch Turret followed by a short, steep scramble to the summit of Ben Chonzie (931m). Descent is along a wide grassy ridge followed by a steep grassy descent to a good path.

Wee Sma Glen - length 12 miles
A fairly lengthy walk that takes you from the Wee Sma Glen onto the path leading to Loch Tay. From there the route takes you through the glens of Rural Perthshire with spectacular views at any given time. The route also follows part of the historical military route built by General Wade at the time of the Jacobites. One can also examine old dry stane circular sheep pen which has stood since the 1800’s and was renovated at the millennium.
